AI Governance and Legal Ethics (Ethics II)
About Course
As artificial intelligence becomes an integral part of modern legal practice, ethical responsibility now extends beyond individual lawyers to the institutions and systems that deploy AI. AI Governance and Legal Ethics (Ethics II) explores how law firms, in-house counsel, and practitioners can establish governance frameworks to ensure responsible, compliant, and transparent use of AI tools. Building on Ethical Foundations of Legal AI, this course provides practical strategies to help legal professionals navigate emerging regulations, bar guidance, and liability risks. Participants will learn how to design firm-wide AI governance structures, conduct bias and fairness audits, manage vendor accountability, and create defensible documentation practices that align with professional conduct rules.
