About Course

This one-hour course equips law students with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to effectively integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into their academic and future professional work. Students will learn how to identify suitable AI tools, apply them in core legal tasks such as research, drafting, and analysis, and understand the ethical and regulatory considerations that govern their use. 

Through real-world demonstrations, participants will see how general-purpose AI (like ChatGPT) and legal-specific AI platforms (such as Harvey and CoCounsel) can be applied to streamline study workflows, enhance research accuracy, and improve written work. The course also covers how to avoid common pitfalls—such as AI hallucinations and confidentiality breaches—ensuring students can leverage AI responsibly.
